Swallowed in the Sea
Gideon Drake has covered every modern battlefield over the last decade because war scares him less than the pain of his past. An impossible lead, a myth and an assassination attempt introduces Gideon to an Israeli Butcher who isn’t Israeli or a butcher.
Rami Ali's story is very different. He is as mysterious as he is sensual and irresistible and he’s not what Gideon expected to find when he set out to uncover the elusive arms dealer. He wasn’t expecting the passion or the reckoning with his past and being in the middle of the ocean can’t save him from the heat.

Night after night, he relives the terror and pain and wakes up haunted by a ghost from his past. Farris has his own secrets and Cyril learns that the cranky professor isn’t bitter beneath his tweed suits. He’s actually rather sweet and tempting and Cyril finds himself breaking his own rules.
A string of curious events and an attack brings a mystery to Blackhurst and Cyril vows to find those responsible and have his revenge.
They All Fall Down can be read as a standalone but it features characters from previous Lake Cliff books and fits into a larger storyline that concludes in the next installment in the series.
Like Grim Death
Something wicked this way comes...
Dr. Aldous Hawkesworth doesn’t scare easily. In fact, Hawk regularly chases danger and follows the things that go bump in the night to escape the horrors of war and his past. But he finds himself in over his head and facing a new and very different challenge when a mysterious, shadowed man rouses him from his sleep to tend to a very “special” patient. Hawk encounters something disturbing and enthralling in the woods at Blackhurst and throws caution and safety to the wind to help Casper Grim.
Has there ever been a character more despicable and lamentable than Mr. Grim? Is he homicidal? Definitely. Deranged? Absolutely. Radioactive? Possibly. Misunderstood...? That’s the question. Can our cagey patient ignore the voices in his head and his murderous impulses long enough to allow the dashing older surgeon to save his miserable life?
Like Grim Death is a spin-off of The Boys of Lake Cliff series but is meant to be a standalone. While a few characters from Lake Cliff make appearances, you do not need to have read the series to enjoy this book.
All Is Bright
Your presence is requested for a very important holiday house party...

Bonds are tested and new alliances are formed while Lord Marston plots his comeback and redemption. Time is running out as the mystery unravels and points to a threat larger and more cunning than anyone was expecting. But our roguish lord has a few more tricks up his sleeve and is determined to make the holiday bright for Mr. Blink and his guests.
*This is the conclusion of a wider mystery and not intended to be read as a stand-alone.

Failure isn’t an option when Mr. Blink demands results but Thaddeus’s plan goes awry almost as soon as he arrives in Montana. Getting snowed in is the easy part, it’s the lying and scheming that gets tricky when Thaddeus’s heart and conscience start acting up.
No good deed goes unpunished, Llewellyn “Wells” Vaughan learns when he offers a handsome, stranded stranger a place to ride out the storm. It’s almost too good to be true after eight years of near solitude but Wells doesn’t question his luck. Who passes up the chance to have a hot fling when the perfect man practically lands on your doorstep and seduces you?
But Thaddeus Locke is far from perfect and finds himself with an impossible problem he may not be able to solve. He has to convince a good, honest man to accept a morally indecent offer with almost no hope of success. Will Thaddeus do what it takes to guarantee Wells’s silence or will he defy Blink and risk the consequences?
